    Event Description:

    Municipal Recycling Ordinance Update
Connecticut's cities and towns are currently working to update their individual recycling ordinances. The Connecticut Recyclers Coalition invites you to our Breakfast Series, focusing on the topics which provide municipalities with key, timely information to successfully undertake this important task - all in time to get you back to your day by mid morning.

The Municipal Recycling Ordinance Update program speakers include:

Peter Brunelli of the Bureau of Materials Management and Compliance Assurance at the CT DEEP.

Peter will answer key questions such as:
-Why do municipalities need to update their recycling ordinances?
-What is the effect of the ordinance?
-What should the updated ordinances say?
-Does DEEP have a template to share of a completed ordinance?
-What is the due date, where can they be filed and much more!

Chris Nelson, Supervising Environmental Analyst at the CT DEEP.

Chris will provide information and updates on RecycleCT's What's In; What's Out campaign, which is a fantastic new tool aimed at streamlining recycling rules across the state and educating citizens about what and how to recycle.
